Lowers Braced

Wow! What an event!!! So, I went to get my second set of molar bands today and my lower arch braced. It was quite the process...as I figured it would be. They got all the brackets put on and when they went to put the wire on a bracket popped off. Ugh. Oh well, it will be fixed in about 3 weeks. Anyway, can you say pain? Oh man....I have had it easy up until now!!! I got a thicker wire on my top arch. My lower arch is pretty much a mess so I knew it was going to be painful. My lower teeth are VERY sore. I'm praying that my #5 tooth (the one that jets out a lot) can be saved. My ortho is worried that as he tries to move it....it may create more gum recession. So, I have to go back every 3 weeks so he can monitor things. Oh well, at least I get to change colors every 3 weeks!! :-) That is exciting! :-) I hope to post a pic in a bit.

Spacers Again

So, last Saturday I got my second round of spacers put in. Ugh! They hurt really bad the first night. Oh! Then, within one hour of having them put in I had already swallowed one! Can you believe it!!!!!! Sheesh!!! Anyway, I go this Friday to have my lower brackets put on! I can't wait! I'm one step closer to being done! Whooo hooo!!!

Amazing What 3 Months Can Bring...

Hi! Just a quick update. It's been 3 months since I was braced! Things continue to go well and I am finally seeing some major progress! Two weeks until my next adjustment and until I get my bottoms on!

Hooray for Pain!!!!

Can I just tell you how excited I am!!!! :-) Finally, I am feeling some pain and movement on the left side of my mouth!!! Whoo!! Hooo!!! I don't know if you can see it in the picture but there is one tooth on the left side that jets out a bit. It has not been moving at all and hasn't been sore either. So, about 1/2 hour ago I started to feel pain on that side and now I am soooo excited!!!
